Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy reaffirmed the Telangana government’s dedication to guiding the state toward peace and prosperity, aligning with the spiritual values of the Brahma Kumaris organization. Speaking at the 20th anniversary celebration of “Brahma Kumaris – Shanti Sarovaram” in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of spiritual guidance in modern life and pledged continued support for the organization’s initiatives.

Promoting peace in a modern world

Addressing the gathering on Sunday, CM Revanth Reddy highlighted the significance of peace in today’s fast-paced, mechanical life. He acknowledged that the policies of the Telangana government resonate with the aspirations of the Brahma Kumaris, particularly in their shared vision of leading society down a peaceful and righteous path. “Peace is essential in modern human life, which has become increasingly mechanical. The Telangana government’s policies are closely aligned with the goals of the Brahma Kumaris in promoting peace and guiding society toward a better future,” the Chief Minister said.

Brahma Kumaris and state initiatives

CM Revanth Reddy praised the Brahma Kumaris for their efforts in fostering spiritual values and noted the pride Telangana takes in hosting Shanti Sarovar, the organization’s spiritual retreat center in Hyderabad. He drew parallels between the government’s welfare policies and the spiritual teachings of the Brahma Kumaris, particularly in supporting farmers and protecting the youth from the dangers of drug abuse. “After Mount Abu, having Shanti Sarovar in Hyderabad is a matter of pride for Telangana. Our government is committed to following the path set by the Brahma Kumaris, especially in the welfare of farmers and empowering our youth against the threat of drugs,” he added.

Empowering the youth

The Chief Minister highlighted the government’s initiatives to empower the youth of Telangana, including the establishment of the Young India Skills University. This institution aims to provide job and employment opportunities, preparing the youth for a prosperous future under the guidance of experienced industrialists. “We are making every effort to eradicate drug abuse through specialized narcotics teams. Our focus is on empowering the youth with skills and opportunities through the Young India Skills University, which will be led by eminent industrialists,” CM Revanth Reddy explained.

Continued support for Brahma Kumaris

In a gesture of continued support, the Chief Minister assured the Brahma Kumaris of the government’s backing in all matters, including the extension of the lease for Shanti Sarovar. He also expressed his commitment to participating in the upcoming Brahma Kumaris Global Conference at Mount Abu, further solidifying the partnership between the state and the spiritual organization. “The Telangana government will stand by the Brahma Kumaris in all their endeavors, and I look forward to joining the global conference at Mount Abu,” Revanth Reddy assured.

The event, attended by Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Tummala Nageswara Rao, and other public representatives, underscored the Telangana government’s commitment to spiritual values and its alignment with the mission of the Brahma Kumaris in fostering a peaceful and progressive society.
