Maha Jnana Sammelana poster unveiled at key Hyderabad landmarks

Hyderabad – Telangana : The first poster of the “Maha Jnana Sammelana” was unveiled on Sunday, at the iconic “Vishwa Kranti Jyoti Lord Buddha” statue in Hussain Sagar, Hyderabad, in celebration of Ashoka Vijaya Dashami. A second poster unveiling took place at the “125 Feet Symbol of Knowledge” statue of Dr. B R Ambedkar on Necklace Road, marking a significant moment for the upcoming event.
Call to preserve true Indian history
Speaking at the event, Turpati Srinivas, Vice President of the Maha Jnana Samaj (MJS), highlighted the importance of Ashoka Vijaya Dashami as a world festival. He lamented the loss of India’s true history amidst fictional narratives. “We must preserve our existence and guide future generations on the right path,” Srinivas said, urging people to reconnect with the historical significance of the day. He emphasized that the “Maha Gnana Sammelana,” set for October 6, aims to bring together those who value knowledge, wisdom, and intelligence.
Leaders urge public involvement
The founder and president of MJS, Psychologist Vishwanath Goviamsa, alongside other dignitaries from Maharashtra and Karnataka, including Krishna, Laxman, Ashoka, Nagesh, Naveen, Sheel Van, Harsha, Sandeep, Dixit, Pragya, and Srinivas, actively participated in the unveiling ceremony. “We invite everyone to join the Maha Jnana Sammelana to celebrate the spirit of intelligence and knowledge,” Goviamsa remarked, calling for wide public participation in next month’s event.
Ashoka Vijaya Dashami: A world festival
Srinivas noted that Ashoka Vijaya Dashami has global significance, and its true history needs to be honoured and passed on. He invited all those with an interest in intellectual and cultural heritage to join the celebrations, which will be held under the auspices of MJS.
