Telangana: In response to the recent attack on women journalists, Telangana’s Minister of Information and Public Relations, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, expressed his deepest sympathy on behalf of the state government. The minister labeled the incident as “very unfortunate” and assured that the government is committed to ensuring the safety and protection of journalists across the state.

The minister also announced in a press conference on Friday that, as part of the government’s commitment, the first phase of allocating house-sites for journalists will commence soon. This move is aimed at fulfilling the promise made to support the welfare of journalists in the state.
