Qureshi Sumaiah Shakir excels in VVM test, advances to state level

Proddutur – Andhra Pradesh: Taqwa High School’s class 8 student, Qureshi Sumaiah Shakir, achieved a significant milestone by securing the top rank in the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2024-25 examination. This achievement qualifies her for the state-level competition in this prestigious national aptitude test, conducted under the Central Government’s Science and Technology Information Corporation.

Dr. Mohammad Shakir Qureshi, Correspondent of Taqwa High School, explained that the VVM examination is a joint initiative of NCERT, Vigyan Prasar, and Vigyan Bharati, aiming to promote scientific aptitude among students. Every year, this test identifies and nurtures talented young minds across the country.
Celebrating talent and guidance
The school celebrated Sumaiah’s success on Saturday, with commendations from faculty and officials alike. Among those extending their congratulations were Ramireddy Srinivasulareddy, District VVM Coordinator, Sirisha, High School Headmistress, Jaya Bharat Reddy, VVM Cell Coordinator and teachers Suresh and Shiva.
