AIIA welcomes 9th batch with traditional orientation program ‘Samskara 2024’

New Delhi: The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) inaugurated its 9th batch of postgraduate scholars with a 15-day orientation program, ‘Samskara 2024,’ emphasizing holistic learning and transformative education.
Swearing-in ceremony marks the beginning
The program began with a Shishyopanayan Pledge, where 85 newly admitted students took an oath to uphold the values of Ayurveda. These students were selected through the All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET), conducted by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) under the Ministry of Ayush.
Inspiring messages from dignitaries
Prof. (Dr.) Tanuja Manoj Nesari, Chief Guest, the former AIIA Director encouraged the students, saying, “I expect this batch to create history in the future.” She highlighted the institute’s commitment to providing exceptional education and fostering transformative journeys.
Prof. (Dr.) Sujata Kadam, AIIA Director (I/C), addressing the students, she said, “These three years will transform you into refined gold. I expect you to emerge as the best students from this institution.”

Established in 2017, AIIA stands as a premier institution under the Ministry of Ayush. It has treated over 27 lakh patients and attends to more than 2,000 patients daily, cementing its role in advancing Ayurveda and holistic healthcare in India.
