BC Welfare Association advocates for comprehensive caste census

Tungaturthi – Telangana: A meeting was held in the Tungaturthi constituency center on Friday, led by BC Welfare Association State Vice President Thanniru Ramprabhu, to emphasize the importance of a comprehensive caste census. Representatives from caste organizations and leaders of various political parties participated in the discussion, highlighting the need for accurate data to address caste-based inequalities effectively.
Demand for comprehensive caste census
Thanniru Ramprabhu stressed that a detailed caste census is vital for implementing equitable policies and welfare schemes. He urged political leaders and social organizations to unite for its success, emphasizing that accurate data is key to ensuring justice and progress for marginalized communities.
Broad participation in the program
The event saw participation from individuals, including Pedda Boyina Ajay, Kondaraju Wangari Brahmam, Muddangula Yadagiri, Elsoju Chanti Chari, Katakam Venkateswarlu, Pulusu Venkatnarayana, and many others, who expressed their support for the census initiative.
Unity among caste organizations
Participants called for unity among caste organizations and political parties to ensure the census reflects the true socio-economic conditions of backward classes. Leaders resolved to take the message to the grassroots and rally for its effective implementation.
