Over 520 families suffering for years due to lack of drinking water facilities!!!

Telangana:- In Medchal District of Malkajgiri Mandal, specifically in the Ammuguda area and Chandra Babu Colony, over 520 families in 13 blocks are struggling without access to basic necessities such as drinking water, bore water, electricity, and proper drainage systems. The Downtrodden People’s Rights Struggle Committee, along with members of Gaddar Assosications are demanding immediate action to address these critical issues.
Residents complain that despite promises from officials and leaders during election times, their pleas for essential services have been ignored for decades. Although water pipes have been laid, there is still no access to clean drinking water.
Each block houses around 40 families, and residents suggest that one bore-well should be installed for every two blocks to alleviate their suffering.
The lack of reliable water access has severely impacted children, women, and the elderly, who are particularly vulnerable. In response to the ongoing neglect, community leaders C L Yadagiri, K Ramesh, G Rajaiah, Railway Balaraj, C L Krishna, Murthy, Dasu, and T Yadalaiah have issued a call to action to local MLA Marri Rajasekhar Reddy, and other concerned officials.
They demand the provision of the necessary facilities and have warned of potential protests and sit-ins at public offices and officials’ homes if their grievances are not addressed promptly.
