Nirsa Police Bust Illegal Lottery Racket: Two Arrested, Four Named !!!

Nirsa: – Sub-divisional Police Officer, Nirsa Rajat Manik Bakhla, in a press conference at the Sub-divisional Police Officer’s office in Maithon, told that two people involved in the illegal lottery business have been arrested and four have been named; let us tell you that a gang involved in the illegal lottery business and selling lottery by falsely luring the public was busted from Sanwalapur village of Kalubthan OP area under Nirsa police station!

6 people involved in this illegal lottery business have been named, out of which 2 were arrested and the rest managed to escape; The arrested youth is Kamakhya Mandal alias Kanik Mandal of Sawlapur village and the other is Bashu Mandal; let us tell you that the Senior Superintendent of Police, Dhanbad had directed to trace the persons selling illegal lottery and take legal action against them.

In light of the same, a team was formed under the leadership of Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Nirsa Rajat Manik Bakhla and the team conducted a proper raid in Sawlapur village on 01/07/2024 at 1:30 pm.

In this, from the house of Prakash Mandal, five pieces of printer machine, one piece of paper cutting machine, four bundles of illegal lottery, one big stapler, four cartons of A 4 size paper, second, from the house of Manoj Mandal, two pieces of Dell company laptop, six pieces of printer machine, one piece of mouse, five bundles of illegal lottery, one illegal lottery hidden in A 4 size, third, from the house of Pintu Mandal, one big Xerox machine, four pieces of printer, five bundles of illegal lottery printed in A 4 size, fourth Printer nine pieces, paper cutting machine three pieces, A4 size paper five bundles, illegal lottery 150 bundles, along with a blue-white colored diary were recovered from Utpal Mandal’s house.

Apart from the above four, Kamakhya Mandal and Basu Mandal, both involved in it, were arrested. Also, a case was registered against all the persons on the basis of case number – 207/2024 Indian Justice Code 319 (2), section 318 (4) 2023 as well as section 7 (3) of the Lottery Regulation Act 1998. Police Sub Inspector Rajiv Prakash (Kalubathan OP in-charge), along with Vijay Kumar Yadav, Ashutosh Yadav, Prabhat Ranjan Rai (Pachet OP in-charge), Subhash Prasad Yadav Deepak Kumar Bauri were included in this raiding team.
