Chittoor Municipality, Nature Lovers join hands to clean Durga Nagar lake

Andhra Pradesh: In a collective effort toward environmental preservation, Chittoor Municipality workers and members of the Nature Lovers Association jointly cleaned the Durga Nagar lake near the Ayyappa Swamy temple in Chittoor town on Sunday.

Joint effort to restore Durga Nagar lake

Municipality workers and volunteers from the Chittoor Nature Lovers Association, led by environmentalist Nature Murali, collaborated to clean the Durga Nagar lake. The cleaning drive involved clearing accumulated dirt, debris, and fallen leaves, restoring the natural water body.

Nature Lovers lead by example

Nature Murali, along with volunteers Shobha Rani, Shiva, Police Murali, and others, actively participated in the cleaning process. Their participation highlighted the important role citizen groups can play in supporting municipal initiatives for environmental conservation.

Commitment to society and environment

The Nature Lovers Association lead by Murali reaffirmed its broader commitment to societal betterment and environmental protection. Members emphasized that preserving natural resources like local lakes is vital not just for ecological balance but also for community well-being.

They pledged to continue taking part in similar initiatives that encourage public participation in environmental stewardship.
