TDP leader urges ANU to fill SC, ST backlog posts and modernize courses

Andhra Pradesh: TDP leader and Malamahanadu state convener Korrapati Suresh urged Acharya Nagarjuna University’s Vice Chancellor to address the backlog of SC and ST posts and introduce world-class vocational courses to compete with private universities.
Filling SC, ST backlog and vacant posts
During their meeting with ANU in-charge Vice Chancellor Acharya Gangadhar on Saturday, Korrapati Suresh called for immediate action to fill the SC and ST backlog posts and vacant positions within the university, emphasizing the importance of inclusive hiring.
Modernizing vocational education at ANU
Suresh also highlighted the need to update vocational courses at ANU in line with global standards, to ensure that the university remains competitive with private institutions as the capital region develops.
Vice Chancellor’s response on education reforms
Responding positively to the filling of vacancies, Vice Chancellor Acharya Gangadhar noted that Minister Nara Lokesh is playing a pivotal role in improving the state’s education system and is actively working toward the development of the university, with the aim of bringing revolutionary changes to education in the state.
