Telangana:- In a disturbing incident, Ramkittu Gangadhar of Kolwai village, Birpur mandal, Jagityala district, is accused of assaulting and attempting to murder Kamera Rajeshwar, a Dalit from Morriguda village, Jannaram mandal, Mancherial district. This attack follows allegations that Gangadhar deceived Rajeshwar with promises of a high-paying job in Iraq.

VBA-TVYS state president, Gavvala Srikanth, has called for the immediate arrest and severe punishment of Gangadhar and his family members under the SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Srikanth also urged for additional charges, including a non-bailable offense and attempted murder.

According to Srikanth, Gangadhar allegedly swindled Rajeshwar out of Rs. 7,30,000 over several months, claiming it was for visa fees, flight tickets, and medical expenses. Despite numerous assurances, Rajeshwar never received the promised visa. In a piece of white, Gangadhar had promised to repay the money but failed to do so.

On the agreed repayment date, Rajeshwar, accompanied by friends and elders, met Gangadhar at a hotel in Kalvai. Instead of returning the money, Gangadhar and his family allegedly assaulted Rajeshwar, using caste-based insults.

Srikanth expressed doubt over the local police for their inaction, accusing them of trying to pressure Rajeshwar into a compromise instead of providing medical assistance and taking immediate legal action. He urged the Dalit, tribal, BC, and minority communities to unite and support Rajeshwar in seeking justice.

TVYS plans to escalate their protests, submitting petitions to senior police officials, including the SP, DSP, CI, IG, DIG, DGP, and the Chief Minister. The organization is calling for a series of meetings and protests in Birpur and Jagityala districts until the perpetrators are brought to justice.

Leaders of the BC movement, including Mamidi Vijay, Madhya Madhu, and Alle Satyam, joined Srikanth in these demands, emphasizing the need for collective action against such deceptive agents and ensuring strict punishment for their crimes.
