Elderly protest pension delays, causing major traffic jam !!!

Telangana :- Elderly citizens in staged a protest on Gadwala Road near the old bus stand in Aiza town, Jogulamba Gadwala district, expressing their frustration over delayed pension payments. The demonstration, held on Tuesday, highlighted the government’s unfulfilled promise to increase pensions.
Protesters, including many beneficiaries, voiced their concerns about not receiving their Aasara pension payments on time, despite assurances during assembly elections that the pension amounts would be doubled. The government had pledged to raise pensions from Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 4,000 and from Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 6,000 for disabled individuals.
BJP leaders showed solidarity with the protesters. The dharna caused significant traffic disruptions until SI Vijaya Bhaskar arrived at the scene to negotiate with the demonstrators and restore order.
