Ministry of education forms expert committee to reform examination processes !!!

Delhi :- The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, has constituted a High-Level Committee of Experts to ensure transparent, smooth, and fair conduct of examinations through the National Testing Agency (NTA). The committee, chaired by Dr. K. Radhakrishnan, former Chairman of ISRO, and including notable members such as Dr. Randeep Guleria, Prof. B J Rao, Prof. Ramamurthy K, Shri Pankaj Bansal, Prof. Aditya Mittal, and Govind Jaiswal, will focus on three main areas:
Reform in Examination Process
– Analyze and improve the end-to-end examination process.
– Review and strengthen Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and monitoring mechanisms.
Improvement in Data Security Protocols
– Evaluate and enhance current data security measures.
– Strengthen security protocols related to paper-setting and examination processes.
Structure and Functioning of NTA
– Recommend organizational changes to support the above reforms.
– Assess and improve the Grievance Redressal Mechanism.
The committee will submit its report to the Ministry within two months and may co-opt additional Subject Matter Experts as needed.
