39 police personnel suspended for misconduct and agitation incitement

Hyderabad: In a significant move to reinforce discipline, the Telangana Special Police (TSP) has suspended 39 personnel for alleged misconduct and instigating agitation within battalions, which impacted morale and operational efficiency.

The Telangana Special Police issued suspension orders to 39 personnel across multiple battalions, responding to incidents that involved breach of conduct rules and incitement of unrest within the ranks. Suspensions in 7 battalions

The suspensions impacted personnel across several battalions. 13 personnel from battalion 3, 7 from 4, 1 from 5, 1 from 6, 3 from 12, 8 from 13 and 6 from 17. The suspended individuals range from head constables to police constables, marking a comprehensive disciplinary action across varying ranks.

According to sources, the suspended officers were allegedly involved in activities that created dissent within the battalions, leading to low morale and disrupting the working environment.
