New Delhi: From Kartavya Path, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) presented a visually compelling tableau at the 77th Republic Day Parade, capturing India’s civilisational storytelling journey from ancient traditions to contemporary global media leadership.
“Bharat Gatha: Shruti, Kriti, Drishti”
Titled “Bharat Gatha: Shruti, Kriti, Drishti,” the MIB tableau traced the evolution of Indian storytelling, beginning with ancient oral traditions (Shruti), moving through creative expressions (Kriti), and culminating in a modern, forward-looking vision (Drishti). The presentation reflected how narratives have shaped India’s cultural identity across centuries.

The tableau showcased India’s transition from folklore, classical literature, and performing arts to print, broadcasting, cinema, and digital platforms, underlining the nation’s ability to adapt tradition to changing times while preserving its cultural essence.
