By Doruvu Paul Jagan Babu: Assistant Chief Editor

Kadapa – Andhra Pradesh: The Rayalaseema Communist Party (RCP) has appealed to the Corporation Commissioner to immediately lay cement roads in Sivanandapuram, where residents continue to face serious difficulties due to pothole-ridden stretches, especially during rains.

Representation submitted at Grievance Cell

RCP City Exective Committee Member Madagalam Prasad and City In-charge Vijay Kumar submitted a petition to the Commissioner during the Grievance Cell program on Monday. They emphasized that both the main road and side roads must be cemented to bring lasting relief to residents.

Road hazards affecting health and safety

The leaders highlighted that commuters and pedestrians are equally at risk. Many residents have reported back pain, sprains, and other injuries caused by navigating the uneven and damaged roads, with the situation worsening during monsoon showers.

Demand for immediate action

The RCP leaders urged officials to act without delay and prioritize road works to ensure smooth travel and public safety. They said road infrastructure is a basic necessity and should not be neglected.

Commissioner assures prompt action

The Commissioner positively responded, assuring that necessary steps would be taken within priority to improve road conditions and provide permanent relief.

Lokesh and Kiriti joined the RCP leaders in voicing concerns and demanded that the Corporation take swift steps to improve conditions in Sivanandapuram.
