Chittoor Peace Foundation calls for action to protect Hindus in Bangladesh

Chittoor – Andhra Pradesh: In a powerful call to action, the Chittoor Peace Foundation has urged immediate steps to address the escalating violence against Hindu minorities in Bangladesh. During a poignant tribute event held on Thursday, leaders emphasized the urgent need for the interim government and international bodies to intervene and safeguard the lives of persecuted Hindu families.
The foundation’s appeal highlights the growing global concern and the necessity for decisive humanitarian efforts to protect vulnerable communities from ongoing attacks.
The Chittoor Peace Foundation organized a massive peace rally with candles at Gandhi Circle to honour the victims who lost their lives in the recent Bangladesh riots.
*Calls for international intervention
President Brahmananda Reddy, addressing the gathering, emphasized the urgent need for action and international intervention. “The interim government led by Muhammad Yunas Khan must take decisive steps to halt the attacks on minority Hindu families in Bangladesh,” Reddy said. He also appealed to the United Nations to extend its humanitarian support and protect the vulnerable Hindu communities.
Geopolitical impact
Chief Secretary Chitti Babu highlighted the geopolitical influences exacerbating the violence. “The extreme attacks on Hindu minorities in Bangladesh are being driven by terrorism supported by Pakistan and China,” he alleged, linking the current crisis to broader regional conflicts.
Leaders including Chittoor Peace Foundation Convener Sunil Kumar, Organizing Secretary Shri Collection Badri, and others Thyagarajulu, Rabindranath, CK Raghu, MJ Ramabhadra, Thotapalayam Venkatesh, Mastan, Uday, Devendra Reddy, Balaji, Pandian, Sampath, and Jayachandra participated in the program.
The program aimed to draw attention to the plight of the Hindu families affected by the riots and rally support for their protection and justice on the international stage.
