Bhadrachalam – Telangana: Human Rights and Anti-Corruption Association (B&G) has called for a CBI investigation into the death of Dalit student Karunya from Maruti Nursing College.

During an executive meeting led by State General Secretary Maddeti Jaya in Bhadrachalam Mandal, State Secretary Mohammad Sameem Munnisa Begum and Bhadradri Kothagudem District Chairman Ragam Kusuma demanded strict action against the college management, accusing them of negligence and harassment.

The HRACA alleges that the college owner is attempting to cover up a potential murder as a suicide to protect his son. They urged the government to investigate the college’s practices and revoke its permit due to its unsafe environment for students.

Grievances were expressed over the lack of investigation into Karunya’s death, which has remained unexplained for four days. The association emphasized the need for a thorough CBI inquiry to prevent future tragedies and ensure justice for Karunya’s family. They warned of potential protests if the investigation does not lead to appropriate actions.

The meeting was attended by key members Yakub Pasha, Dasim Maheswara Rao, Valadas Salayya, K Nageswara Rao, Shivarani, Madhuri, Hanumantha Rao, and others. They supported the call for justice for Karunya and her family.
