Mala Mahanadu calls for immediate action against sale of fake seeds in Kurnool district !!!

Yemmiganur – Kurnool – Andhra Pradesh:- Rayalaseema Mala Mahanadu President Gaddam Nagendra and Kurnool District President Maddela Siddarama submitted a petition on Friday to the Agriculture Officer, seeking action against those selling fake seeds and fertilizers in Ymmiganur of Kurnool district.

During a press conference, Gaddam Nagendra alleged that with the onset of the Kharif season, farmers are being deceived by the sale of counterfeit seeds and fertilizers under new brand names and at high prices in Ymmiganoor. On behalf of Mala Mahanadu, he demanded the immediate seizure of the fertilizer shops defrauding farmers.

Farmers from the Telangana and Karnataka borders, as well as from Kodumuru, Pattikonda, and surrounding areas, purchase seeds and fertilizers here. Fertilizer shop owners are exploiting uneducated farmers by fraudulently selling new brand products at inflated prices.

Mala Mahanadu urges the concerned officials to raid these shops, seize the fake products, and register cases against the fraudulent sellers. Farmers from various villages and leaders of Mala Mahanadu participated in the program.
