INSIGHT to Organize Child Care and Education Support Programme in Kolkata
INSIGHT proposes a one-day Child Care and Education Support Programme in Kolkata for September 2026, aiming to distribute educational supplies, conduct creative learning activities, and promote awareness of education, personal hygiene, and child welfare among children from underprivileged communities.
Kolkata Area Correspondent: The Indian Social Income and Grievance Helping Trust (INSIGHT) has proposed a one-day Child Care and Education Support Programme in Kolkata, West Bengal, for September 2026. The initiative aims to support children from underprivileged and vulnerable communities by providing basic educational materials and opportunities to participate in educational and creative activities.
The proposed programme seeks to address some of the challenges faced by children who have limited access to learning resources and supportive educational environments. Through this initiative, INSIGHT aims to encourage children’s participation in learning and contribute to their educational development.
As part of the proposed activities, the organization plans to coordinate with a local school, community group, or child-care organization to identify the needs of children and arrange the programme accordingly. Essential educational supplies, including notebooks, pencils, erasers, and drawing sheets, will be distributed to children who require additional support.
The programme will also include age-appropriate educational activities, storytelling sessions, and creative exercises to encourage children’s curiosity, participation, and learning. Simple messages about the importance of education, personal hygiene, regular school attendance, and safe learning environments will also be shared.
INSIGHT aims to create a supportive and inclusive environment where children feel respected, encouraged, and motivated to learn. The organization also plans to maintain basic records of educational materials distributed and programme expenses while protecting the privacy and dignity of participating children.
The Indian Social Income and Grievance Helping Trust (INSIGHT) is a charitable organization working in areas including child welfare, care and support for older persons, women’s development, street animal welfare, and social protection for underprivileged and rural communities.
Through this proposed initiative, INSIGHT seeks to promote educational awareness, strengthen community participation in child welfare, and encourage children to pursue learning in a positive environment.
The programme is planned for September 2026 and will be coordinated by the organization’s team and local volunteers in collaboration with an appropriate local institution or community representative.
The initiative reflects INSIGHT’s commitment to child welfare and educational support, with the aim of helping children access learning opportunities and move towards a brighter future.
