The rally, led by Ramatirtham Amaresh, Gaddam Nagendra, Kayyon, R Sundarraju, M Job, Devadasu, Kumar, and Prabhudasu, began at Raghavendra Circle. Participants paid floral tributes to the Ambedkar statue before submitting a representation to DT Guru Raju.

Demand for two acres of land

Leaders said two acres of government land in Mantralayam Urban must be allotted, stressing that such a facility would serve as a hub for social, economic, cultural, community, and educational programs that benefit oppressed classes.

Appeal for immediate action

The leaders urged authorities to conduct a survey and expedite land allocation, pointing out that this demand reflects the long-standing sentiments of Scheduled Caste communities.

Alongside the main leadership, several representatives of local associations — including Charles, Prasanna, Shiva, Thimmappa, Prabhudasu, Anok, Ravi, Eeranna, Lakshmanna, and Raju — joined the rally with nearly 100 participants, expressing solidarity with the demand.
