INSIGHT Organises Food Distribution Programme in Dhanbad in Memory of Founder Late Maya Devi Ji
INSIGHT honoured its founder, Late Maya Devi Ji, on her birth anniversary by distributing puri, laddus and aloo bhujia to people in need in Dhanbad, promoting compassion, humanity and the spirit of social service.

Dhanbad Area Correspondent: The Indian Socio Income and Grievance Helping Trust (INSIGHT) organised a food distribution programme in Dhanbad to commemorate the birth anniversary of its founder, Late Maya Devi Ji. Instead of celebrating the occasion with grand festivities, the organisation chose to honour her memory through an act of social service and compassion.
During the programme, food was distributed among people in need with care, dignity and respect. The food included puri, laddus and aloo bhujia. The initiative aimed to share happiness with underprivileged people and remind them that compassion and community support remain important values in society.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of INSIGHT President Samir Kumar Singh. The organisation’s General Secretary, Mrs. Sarita Singh, Secretary Subhas Singh, Sourav Rajput, and other members participated in the initiative. The team worked together to carry out the food distribution and extend support to people in need.

INSIGHT believes that one of the most meaningful ways to honour a respected personality is to carry forward their ideals through positive actions. The programme was organised as a heartfelt tribute to Late Maya Devi Ji, whose memory continues to inspire the organisation’s commitment to social welfare.
Speaking about the organisation’s ongoing service activities, Mrs. Sarita Singh highlighted that INSIGHT regularly undertakes initiatives to support children, older persons, women and vulnerable animals. These activities include the distribution of food, blankets and essential household supplies to those who need assistance.
She emphasised the importance of extending support to vulnerable communities and strengthening compassion, kindness and social responsibility.
INSIGHT believes that social service should not be limited to a particular day or special occasion. Supporting people in need, respecting older persons, caring for children, empowering women and looking after vulnerable animals are all important aspects of building a more compassionate society.
The food distribution programme in Dhanbad reflected this commitment. It demonstrated how small acts of kindness, when carried out with sincerity, can bring comfort and happiness to others.
Through such initiatives, INSIGHT aims to continue supporting underprivileged communities and spreading the message of humanity and collective responsibility.
The organisation paid a heartfelt tribute to its founder, Late Maya Devi Ji, by dedicating the occasion to service and compassion.
