Ramesh Assumes Charge as Assistant Director of I&PR in YSR Kadapa District

Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh: A. Ramesh* on Thursday assumed charge as the Assistant Director (AD) of the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department for YSR Kadapa district, following his promotion from the post of District Public Relations Officer (DPRO) in Prakasam district. He reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening government communication, promoting journalists’ welfare initiatives, and ensuring wider publicity for welfare and development programmes.

Promoted from Ongole DPRO to Kadapa AD

Prior to his promotion, Ramesh served as the District Public Relations Officer (DPRO) in the Information and Public Relations Department at Ongole. Following his elevation, he has now taken charge as the Assistant Director for YSR Kadapa district.

Focus on publicizing government welfare and development

Addressing the staff after assuming office, Ramesh expressed happiness over his promotion and appointment in Kadapa. He said that, under the guidance of the District Collector, he would work towards effectively publicizing government welfare schemes, development programmes, official events, departmental initiatives, and journalists’ welfare measures through the media, ensuring that government information reaches the public efficiently.

Calls for teamwork and dedicated public service

The new Assistant Director emphasized that every employee in the department is a partner in public service. He urged the staff to perform their duties with dedication, professionalism, and mutual cooperation while adhering to office rules, government guidelines, and departmental objectives. He also stressed the importance of maintaining a cordial working environment to deliver efficient public service.

Warm welcome by department officials

On the occasion, DEIE Srinivasa Rao, PRO Ravikumar, AVS Nagaiah, Senior Assistant Mahboob Basha, and other officials welcomed the newly appointed Assistant Director by presenting floral bouquets and extending their congratulations.

Among those present were Information Technicians Sadashivaiah and Krupakar, Photographer Sohail, Typists Srivani and Vardhini, Record Assistants Lakshmipathi and Ajmatullah, and TAs Haribabu, Veerareddy, Vijaya Kumari, Shahina Begum, Mumtaz Begum, Sunitha, Subhashini, Jayamma, along with other department staff.
