YCP Coordinator Deepika criticizes TDP over inaction in gang-rape incident

Hindupuram – Andhra Pradesh: YSRCP Hindupuram coordinator Deepika fiercely criticized TDP leaders, questioning MLA Balakrishna’s silence on a recent gang-rape incident. She demanded immediate action and urged TDP to stop attacking YSRCP and focus on addressing crimes under their leadership.

Sharp questions raised over delayed response

Deepika, raised strong questions, criticizing TDP leaders, including MLA Balakrishna, for not responding to the recent gang-rape incident in Hindupuram. She pointed out the lack of arrests and demanded action, asking, “Will MLA Balakrishna respond to the rape incident?”

TDP’s response questioned

TDP Minister Savitha had assured that the accused would be arrested by evening, but Deepika questioned, “Where were they arrested?” She accused TDP leaders of ignoring the incident while focusing on political criticism.

Highlighting Jagan government’s actions

Deepika defended the YSRCP government’s track record, highlighting the implementation of the Disha Act, which aims to complete rape case investigations within 21 days and ensure strict punishment for the accused. She also countered TDP’s criticisms, noting, “Stop criticizing Jagan Mohan Reddy and focus on your responsibilities.”

TDP’s failures

She pointed out that ten similar incidents occurred in 100 days under the TDP-led coalition, questioning the actions taken at that time. “What measures were taken then?” she asked, demanding accountability from the TDP leadership and reflection on its own shortcomings before criticizing YSRCP.

Deepika’s sharp remarks have raised public attention, calling for urgent action and accountability from all political leaders involved.
