Paritala Sriram appeals to Govt. for compensation to farmers

Dharmavaram – Andhra Pradesh: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Paritala Sriram brought the issue of compensation for 90 poor farmers from Tumparthi village, Dharmavaram Constituency, to the attention of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Revenue Minister Anagaani Satyaprasad. The farmers’ lands were previously acquired for housing construction under the earlier government, but they have yet to receive compensation.

Injustice highlighted to Govt.

During his appeal on Thursday, Constituency In-charge Sriram outlined the injustice faced by the 90 farmer families from Tumparthi village, whose land was acquired under the former administration. He emphasized that the lack of compensation has left these families struggling and sought immediate resolution of the issue

Positive response from Govt.

Chief Minister Naidu and Revenue Minister Satyaprasad responded positively to Sriram’s appeal, assuring him that they would look into the matter and work towards ensuring justice for the affected farmers.

Focus on fair compensation

Sriram urged the government to expedite the compensation process, emphasizing that the farmers have been waiting for justice for too long. He stressed the importance of providing relief to the affected families and rectifying the mistakes of the previous regime.
