APUWJ seeking 60% fee concession for journalists’ children in private schools !!!

Emmiganooru – Kurnool:- Andhra Pradesh Union of Working Journalists (APUWJ) has appealed for a 60 percent fee concession for children of journalists attending private corporate schools in Emmiganooru. The request was made by APUWJ Emmiganooru taluk president B Srinivasa Naidu, taluk general secretary Chinnaakula Nagaraju, and town president GB Paramesh during a program at the local old Tehsildar’s office on Monday.

The petition, handed over to Mandal Education Officer (MEO) Anjaneyulu, emphasized that such concessions have been granted in Kurnool district for several years. The journalists urged MEO Anjaneyulu to organize a meeting with private school owners, school leaders, and the journalists’ association to discuss the matter.

In response, MEO Anjaneyulu promised to take steps towards granting the fee concession and assured that he would arrange a meeting with the private school owners within a week to negotiate the subsidy.

The event was attended by APUJ District Vice President Noor Ahmed, Taluka Working President V Ramakrishna, Organizing Secretary M Eranna, and other leaders including Siva, Maqbool, Ashok, Baburaju, C Nagaraju, Avula Srinivasulu, Tirumala Venkatesh, Balaji, Ravi Kumar, Abdullah, Arvind Goud, Lakshmanna, Venkatesh, Rahiman, M Raju, Sunil Kumar, Hari, Ranganna, Ravindra Reddy, and Prasad.
