RPC Seeks Dismissal of Andhra Coalition Government, Calls for President’s Rule
Founder Meda Srinivas alleges misuse of power by Chief Election Commissioner and State CEO in 2024 elections; claims EVM mismatches and irregular deletion of votes undermined democracy

RAJAHMUNDRY – AP: Doruvu Paul Jagan Babu – Assistant Chief Editor: The Rastriya Praja Congress (RPC) has demanded the dismissal of the coalition government in Andhra Pradesh and imposition of President’s Rule, alleging large-scale electoral malpractice in the 2024 general elections. The demand was made by RPC Founder President Meda Srinivas at a meeting held on Sunday at the party’s central office.
Allegations against CEC, Election Law
Srinivas alleged that democracy was completely undermined in the 2024 general elections due to abuse of power by Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and Andhra Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Mukesh Kumar Meena.
He alleged that votes were stolen through various means as part of a conspiracy to bring the Modi government and its allies to power. He claimed there was no correlation between the VVPATs, EVMs and machines used at the time of polling and those seen at the time of counting in some areas, and that rules were changed to suit the alleged conspiracy.
He further alleged that Section 16 of the Election Law, 2023 was brought in to provide legal protection to the Chief Election Commissioner from legal action during service and after retirement. The provision, he alleged, was created in 2023 itself to shield officers like Gyanesh Kumar while they committed electoral offences. He also alleged that Forms 6 and 7 were misused to delete more than 13 crore votes.
Allegations against State CEO, Janasena victories
Srinivas alleged that State CEO Mukesh Kumar Meena had indulged in serious abuse of power to benefit the Janasena Party.
He claimed that the 21 Assembly and 2 Parliament seats won by Janasena led by Pawan Kalyan were entirely illegal declarations of victory. He alleged that the electoral malpractice of the Central Election Commission has become central to Pawan Kalyan’s political rise and that fear of exposure of the alleged vote fraud haunts the Janasena chief.
Referring to his own election petition (EP) filed in the AP High Court against the Rajahmundry Parliament seat, he said an early hearing without delay would expose alleged electoral crimes and abuse of power. He demanded a special inquiry into the 21 Assembly and 2 Parliament seats won by Janasena.
Alleged irregularities In AP poll management
The RPC leader alleged that the conduct of the 2024 elections in AP under CEO Mukesh Kumar Meena was highly flawed and corrupt, and that contestants were harassed.
He alleged that registered political parties were being divided as registered / recognised on the lines of British rulers and kept away from meetings conducted by the Election Commission, ignoring whether they were contesting and following norms. He also questioned the allotment of symbols, alleging violation of rules and introduction of new norms for select parties.
He demanded a high-level inquiry into all circulars allegedly issued illegally by Mukesh Kumar Meena during the 2024 elections.
He recalled media reports that EVMs were caught by police while being transported in a truck in Kakinada and Pithapuram areas during the elections.
Srinivas further alleged that the conspiracy involving EVMs started after 2004 and expressed suspicion over the role of electoral fraud behind the death of Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy. He demanded scrapping of EVMs and reintroduction of ballot papers.

Criticism Of political class, demand for President’s Rule
Srinivas said it was painful that the youth are taking to the streets and facing police lathis to protect democracy while elected representatives have failed to raise the issue of alleged vote theft. He called upon every citizen across the country to join the fight to protect the vote.
He criticised former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu and former IAS officer Jay Prakash Narayan for allegedly supporting the CEC, and said opposition parties in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were acting as slaves to Modi and were cautious not to hurt the Chandrababu-led alliance even in their protests.
In this backdrop, he demanded that the AP government be dismissed and President’s Rule be imposed in the country.
The meeting was presided over by RPC senior secular Pendyala Kamaraju. RPC seculars D.V. Ramanamurthy, Simma Durgarao, Dudde Suresh, Vardhanapu Sharath Kumar, Valli Srinivasa Rao, Dudde Trinath, Karumuri Yugandhar, Gudla Sai Durga Prasad, Basa Sonia, Vadapalli Jyothish, Javvadi Mohan, Pandrangi Eswara Rao, Tripurala Pandavulu, Challa Siva Durga, Challa Vamsi, Seethena Suresh, Pitta Srinivasa Rao, Pitta Veeramma, Garaga Suresh, Keshana Harin Karthik, Mattaparthi Tulasi, Sunkara Venkata Bhaskara Rangarao, Dabba Kumari and others participated.
