INSIGHT distributed essential supplies to needy people in Raniganj on the auspicious occasion of Mahalaya and the first day of Navaratri, spreading the message of compassion, dignity, and humanity.

Raniganj, Area Correspondent:  On the auspicious occasion of Mahalaya and the first day of Sharadiya Navaratri, social organization INSIGHT organized a service initiative in Raniganj, West Bengal, distributing essential supplies to people in need, including individuals dependent on begging for their livelihood. The initiative aimed to share the spirit of the festive season with underprivileged communities and promote the values of compassion, dignity, and humanity.

Mahalaya marks the arrival of Goddess Durga and holds special significance for devotees, while Navaratri symbolizes faith, strength, positivity, and new beginnings. Reflecting these values, INSIGHT undertook this initiative to extend support to people facing difficult circumstances and help them experience a sense of care and belonging during the festive season.

The programme was conducted in the presence of  Poonam Upadhyay, Executive Director of INSIGHT, Kusum Upadhyay, and other members of the organization. During the initiative, essential supplies were distributed to those in need as part of the organization’s ongoing commitment to social welfare.

INSIGHT believes that the true spirit of festivals lies not only in celebration but also in sharing happiness with people who need support.
