NRI Donor Awards ₹1 Lakh to Government School Toppers in Proddatur

Kadapa – Andhra Pradesh: In memory of his parents, the late Narala Bali Reddy and Narala Venkata Subbamma, NRI philanthropist Narala Chandra Mohan Reddy distributed cash prizes totaling ₹1 lakh to students who secured top marks in the 10th standard examinations at government schools in Proddatur town during the 2025–26 academic year. A grand felicitation ceremony was also organized to honor the students, their parents, and teachers.

The event was conducted at the local YVS Municipal School under the guidance of retired lecturer Ramachandra Reddy and CBIT Principal Srinivasa Reddy.
Headmasters, teachers, students, and parents from various municipal schools participated actively in the program.
The gathering celebrated academic achievement while encouraging students to pursue higher goals in education.
Two students share first place
At the town level, first place was jointly secured by U. Lalitha and V. Mahalakshmi, students of SPCN MPL High School, Rameswaram, who each scored 587 marks in the SSC examinations. Both students received ₹25,000 each, bringing the total first-place award amount to ₹50,000.
Second and third rank holders honoured
The second and third positions were secured by S. Suhana and Chandana Priya, students from YVS Municipal Girls’ School. Each of them received ₹15,000 as a cash prize. Other selected students were awarded ₹5,000 each, taking the total prize distribution amount to ₹1 lakh.

Donor participates through video conference
Narala Chandra Mohan Reddy, who currently resides abroad, participated in the program through video conference.
Addressing the students and parents virtually, he congratulated the achievers and encouraged students to continue striving for academic excellence through discipline and dedication.
The event concluded with appreciation for the efforts of teachers, parents, and school administrations in supporting student success.
