INSIGHT Distributes Hot Meals to Elderly and Needy People Amid Heavy Rain in Raniganj

Raniganj, Area Correspondent: Social organization INSIGHT organized a special humanitarian service programme in Raniganj, West Bengal, under its “Madhuvan Elderly Care and Protection Campaign.” Despite heavy rainfall, the organization’s team reached elderly people and economically disadvantaged individuals to distribute freshly prepared hot meals.

The initiative aimed to provide food and support to vulnerable members of society during difficult weather conditions while spreading a message of compassion, humanity, and social responsibility.

The programme was conducted in the presence of Executive Director Poonam Upadhyay, Kusum Upadhyay, and other members of the organization. Despite the continuous rain, team members personally visited people in need, distributed hot meals, and enquired about their well-being.

The programme highlighted the importance of supporting elderly people and underprivileged communities, particularly during challenging circumstances. Access to food and basic necessities becomes especially important for vulnerable individuals when severe weather makes daily life more difficult.

INSIGHT believes that meaningful social service means reaching people when they need assistance the most. This principle lies at the heart of the Madhuvan Elderly Care and Protection Campaign, which focuses on extending care, support, and dignity to elderly people and those facing economic hardship.

Through such initiatives, INSIGHT continues its efforts to promote humanitarian values, community welfare, and a spirit of service. The programme in Raniganj conveyed a simple but powerful message: humanity and compassion should continue even in the most challenging circumstances.
