The programme focused on helping women understand how to identify suitable business opportunities based on their skills, available resources, and local market demand. Discussions highlighted the importance of basic business planning, cost calculation, pricing strategies, and effective financial management for establishing and maintaining successful micro-businesses.
Participants were encouraged to understand the importance of maintaining daily records of income and expenditure, developing regular saving habits, and managing business finances responsibly. The discussions also covered customer relationship management, product and service quality, branding, packaging, and local promotional strategies to improve business performance.
Special attention was given to digital marketing and online business opportunities, enabling participants to understand how digital platforms can help small businesses reach more customers. The programme provided a platform for women to exchange ideas, discuss common business challenges, and explore practical ways to start, strengthen, or expand their existing micro-business activities.
Through this initiative, Dhanshristi Bhavishya Nidhi Trust aimed to encourage women-led enterprises, promote financial awareness, and support sustainable livelihood development. The programme emphasized that effective planning, financial discipline, customer satisfaction, and an understanding of market demand can help women build and gradually expand their businesses.
