Faridabad: A shocking crime was reported in Faridabad where a woman was allegedly gang-raped inside a moving van for nearly two hours before being thrown out onto the road.
According to police, the incident occurred late at night when the woman was offered a lift by two men travelling in a van. Instead of dropping her at her destination, the accused drove toward isolated stretches and sexually assaulted her while the vehicle kept moving.
After the assault, the woman was pushed out of the van and left injured on the roadside. Despite her condition, she managed to seek help and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Police have registered a case and arrested the accused. The vehicle used in the crime has been seized, and further investigation is underway.
The incident has once again raised serious concerns about women’s safety, especially during late-night travel, and highlights the need for stronger security measures and stricter enforcement of law and order.
