Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra has passed away at the age of 89 at his residence in Mumbai. The actor had been facing health issues in recent weeks and was under medical observation.
According to reports, an ambulance arrived at his Juhu home, and soon after his passing, the actor’s body was taken for last rites. Security was tightened around the Pawan Hans Crematorium as family members and close relatives gathered for the funeral.
Dharmendra, known as one of Indian cinema’s most iconic stars, had a career spanning more than six decades with memorable roles in films like Sholay, Chupke Chupke, and Phool Aur Patthar.
The film industry and fans across the country are mourning the loss of the beloved actor.
