YSRCP questions coalition govt on prioritizing liquor policy over ‘Super Six’

Andhra Pradesh: In a sharp critique of the ruling coalition government, YSRCP Kamalapuram Coordinator Naren Ramanjula Reddy questioned the prioritization of the liquor policy over key development promises, particularly ‘Super Six’. He highlighted that the much-advertised ‘Super Six’ initiatives were sidelined in favour of a liquor policy, which Nara Chandrababu Naidu claimed would bring in 5-6 thousand crores to the exchequer.
Liquor revenue vs. promised development
Reddy pointed out that despite Andhra Pradesh having more liquor shops, its income was less than that of Telangana, which operates fewer liquor outlets. He accused the alliance leaders of blocking Naidu’s vision of generating 6 thousand crores through liquor sales, suggesting that the revenue was instead funneled into the pockets of NDA leaders.
Public deceived by ‘Super Six’ claims
He further criticized the coalition government for misleading the public with promises of the ‘Super Six’ projects. He alleged that NDA leaders halted Naidu’s vision for liquor revenue and instead sought to benefit themselves, accusing them of filling their pockets while draining the state’s coffers.
