Ranchi,Area Correspondent:: Dhanshristi Bhavishya Nidhi Trust organized a one-day Micro-Loan Training Programme in Ranchi, Jharkhand, aimed at improving financial awareness among aspiring entrepreneurs and micro-business owners. The programme focused on helping participants understand formal micro-credit facilities, loan application procedures, and responsible borrowing practices for business and livelihood development.
During the training, participants received information about different micro-loan options available through formal lending institutions. The sessions explained common eligibility criteria, documentation requirements, and the application process, helping participants understand the steps involved in seeking financial assistance for their business activities.
Special emphasis was placed on loan budgeting, interest rates, processing fees, instalments, and repayment schedules. Participants were encouraged to assess their actual financial requirements before borrowing and prepare realistic repayment plans based on their income and expected business cash flow.
The programme also highlighted the importance of maintaining proper bank records, business accounts, and financial statements. Discussions covered credit history, timely repayment, and the potential consequences of excessive borrowing or taking loans without a clear repayment strategy.
An awareness session addressed fraudulent loan offers, unauthorized agents, and misleading financial schemes. Participants were advised to verify lenders, compare loan terms, and confirm all charges and conditions directly with authorized financial institutions before submitting applications.
The programme included interactive discussions, a sample loan-document checklist, a practical repayment-budgeting exercise, and a question-and-answer session. These activities helped participants understand the practical considerations involved in financing small businesses and self-employment initiatives.
Through this initiative, Dhanshristi Bhavishya Nidhi Trust aimed to promote financial literacy, encourage responsible access to credit, and support sustainable livelihood development. The programme emphasized that informed borrowing, proper financial planning, and disciplined repayment are essential for managing business finances effectively. Loan approval and disbursement remain subject to the eligibility criteria and assessment procedures of the respective lending institution.
