INSIGHT Organizes Child Health Care Awareness Programme in Dhanbad

Dhanbad, Area Correspondent: Indian Socio Income and Grievance Helping Trust (INSIGHT) organized a Child Health Care Awareness Programme in Dhanbad on May 11, 2026. The programme aimed to improve awareness among children, parents and caregivers about child health, nutrition, personal hygiene, preventive care and healthy daily habits.

During the programme, participants were provided with information on the importance of maintaining good hygiene, eating nutritious food and following healthy routines. The awareness session also highlighted the importance of preventive care and seeking timely medical consultation whenever children experience health-related concerns.

As part of the initiative, basic health and hygiene awareness activities were conducted for children. INSIGHT volunteers interacted with children in an engaging manner and shared simple information about maintaining personal cleanliness and adopting healthy habits in their daily lives.

Educational and child-care awareness materials were also distributed among participants. In addition, healthy snacks and basic nutritional support were provided to children as part of the community welfare initiative.

The programme also included interaction with parents and caregivers, focusing on children’s health, nutrition and overall well-being. Volunteers encouraged families to pay attention to children’s health needs and seek appropriate medical guidance when required.

The initiative aimed to strengthen community-level awareness about child welfare and encourage families to take practical steps toward supporting children’s health and development.

INSIGHT works in areas including child welfare, old-age care, women empowerment, street animal welfare and social protection of underprivileged and marginalized communities.
