INSIGHT Organizes Beggar Community Development Programme in Dhanbad

Dhanbad, Jharkhand  Indian Socio Income and Grievance Helping Trust (INSIGHT) organized a Beggar Community Development Programme in Dhanbad on April 4, 2026, with the aim of supporting people living in extreme poverty and promoting dignity, social inclusion and awareness of available welfare services.

The programme focused on engaging with vulnerable individuals and understanding their basic needs. Volunteers interacted with members of the community and provided basic food and essential support materials as part of the welfare initiative.

During the programme, volunteers also conducted awareness activities related to personal hygiene, safety and government welfare services. Beneficiaries were guided on the importance of identity documents and accessing applicable social security and welfare schemes.

The initiative also included volunteer-led counselling and community outreach aimed at encouraging vulnerable people to connect with available support systems and improve their access to basic services.

Speaking about the initiative, INSIGHT emphasized that community welfare programmes should go beyond immediate assistance and focus on dignity, awareness and social inclusion of marginalized communities.
