Dhanshristi Organizes Financial Cyber Security Awareness Programme in Dhanbad
Awareness raised on online financial fraud, secure digital payments, UPI safety, and protection of passwords, PINs and OTPs.
Dhanbad, Area Correspondent:: Dhanshristi Bhavishya Nidhi Trust organized a Financial Cyber Security Awareness Programme in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, to create awareness about online financial fraud and the safe use of digital financial services.
The programme focused on important aspects of financial cyber security, including online scams, secure digital payments, mobile banking safety, and responsible use of digital financial platforms. Participants were informed about common methods used in online financial fraud and the precautions that can help reduce the risk of becoming a victim.
During the awareness session, participants received guidance on the safe use of UPI, mobile banking and digital payment services. Special emphasis was placed on keeping PINs, passwords, OTPs and banking information confidential and avoiding suspicious links, messages, calls and emails.
An interactive question-and-answer session was also conducted, allowing participants to discuss their concerns related to cyber fraud and digital financial security. Awareness and reading materials were distributed to reinforce the key safety practices discussed during the programme.
The initiative by Dhanshristi Bhavishya Nidhi Trust aimed to encourage responsible digital financial practices and help participants remain alert against emerging forms of online financial fraud.
