Dhanbad, Jharkhand – On 04 September 2025, Indian Socio Income and Grievance Helping Trust (INSIGHT) organized a Child Care and Protection Programme in Dhanbad, with the participation of 50 children. The programme aimed to promote child safety, education, and overall development.
Let’s be clear—awareness alone doesn’t change anything unless it’s backed by real support. This programme wasn’t limited to speeches; it focused on delivering actual resources to children who need them.
During the programme, children were educated about child protection, personal safety, and the importance of education. They were guided on how to recognize unsafe situations and seek help when needed.
As part of the initiative, study materials were distributed, including books, notebooks, pens, pencils, and other essential educational supplies. This directly addressed one of the biggest barriers—lack of basic learning resources.
In addition, all 50 children were provided with food, ensuring they could participate comfortably while also receiving immediate nutritional support.
The programme also included interactive sessions, where children were encouraged to speak openly, ask questions, and share their concerns. They were further guided on hygiene, discipline, and positive behavior, which are critical for their daily lives.
Volunteers played a key role in executing the programme, managing coordination, distributing materials, and supporting the children throughout the event.
Through this initiative, Indian Socio Income and Grievance Helping Trust (INSIGHT) demonstrated a practical approach to child welfare—combining awareness with direct support.
However, here’s the hard truth: a one-day programme won’t change a child’s future. Real impact depends on continuity—regular support, follow-up, and long-term educational assistance. Without that, the effect remains temporary.
If INSIGHT wants measurable results, the next step is consistency—not just more events, but sustained intervention.
