Candidates raise concerns over DSC 2025 selection transparency: CPM

By Doruvu Paul Jagan Babu: Assistant Chief Editor

Konaseema: Confusion is brewing among candidates over the DSC 2025 recruitment process, with several aspirants alleging irregularities in the call letter and merit list procedures. Student concerns were echoed by the CPM, which has demanded greater transparency from the government.

Call letters create confusion

Though call letters were issued online, reports emerged that some eligible candidates did not receive them. This has fueled suspicions about discrepancies in the process.

Demand for merit list and cutoff marks

CPM district convenor Kaarem Venkateswara Rao urged the government to immediately release the DSC 2025 selection list along with category-wise cutoff marks. He alleged that candidates selected in open competition were also shown under reserved categories, adding to the confusion.

Priority order mistakes and eligibility issues

According to Rao, some candidates mistakenly listed lower cadre posts above higher cadre ones when choosing post preferences. He suggested the government allow such students to correct their options. He also emphasized that students who studied through distance education, or those who acquired certificates after the DSC application deadline but were otherwise eligible, should not be excluded from the selection list.

Call for fair process

The CPM stressed that a transparent merit list would end misconceptions and reassure students. Leaders insisted that every eligible candidate must be given fair consideration without technical lapses or procedural hurdles.

The demands were announced and pressnoote issued at the CPM district office in Dr. B R Ambedkar Konaseema. Several district committee members, including G Durga Prasad, Balaram, K Krishnaveni, T Naga Varalakshmi, Peethala Ramachandra Rao, Sakile Suryanarayana, Bunga Satyanarayana, Tadi Sriram Murthy, and K Shankar were present.
