Veteran journalist Rajendra Prasad appointed JDRF Regional Secretary

Guntur – Andhra Pradesh: Senior journalist Meduri Rajendra Prasad, known for his four-decade career as a freelance reporter and press photographer, has been appointed as the Regional Secretary of the Joint Guntur District for the Journalists Democratic Rights Forum (JDRF).
Commitment to journalistic values
Rajendra Prasad emphasized that journalism plays a vital role in protecting and strengthening democracy at both state and national levels. He reaffirmed his commitment to practicing journalism with integrity and values.
Recognition by JDRF leadership
He expressed gratitude to JDRF President Pulathoti Krishna, State General Secretary Meda Srinivasa, and Honorary President and former MLC Ila Venkateswara Rao for recognizing his dedication and entrusting him with the new role.
Fighting for journalists’ rights
Rajendra Prasad said that JDRF will continue its democratic fight for the professional rights of journalists, including essential facilities and government support that reporters, video journalists, and freelance journalists deserve.
He also extended an open invitation to reporters, photographers, video journalists, and freelance journalists across newspapers, television channels, and digital platforms to join JDRF, an association rooted in honesty and commitment to journalism values.
