MoRD warns public against fraudulent recruitment by NRDRM in Delhi

New Delhi: The Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) has issued a public warning against fraudulent recruitment activities conducted by an organization falsely operating under its name. The entity, National Rural Development and Recreation Mission (NRDRM), claims to be based at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Road, New Delhi, and operates through websites (www.nrdrm.com) and (www.nrdrmvacancy.com). The Ministry clarified that NRDRM has no affiliation with the government and urged the public to remain vigilant against such scams.
MoRD disowns NRDRM, calls It fraudulent
The MoRD categorically stated that NRDRM does not function under its jurisdiction, as falsely claimed. It warned that any job advertisements or recruitment drives carried out by this organization using the Ministry’s name or that of its officials should be treated as fraudulent. The Ministry has distanced itself from these deceptive activities, stressing that they lack any official sanction.
No fees or bank details required in recruitment
The Ministry clarified that it does not charge any fees at any stage of its recruitment process. It also does not request applicants’ banking details or other sensitive personal information. Citizens are advised to disregard any communication from NRDRM demanding payments or financial details in exchange for job opportunities.
Public advised to verify recruitment notices on official website
To avoid falling victim to such scams, the Ministry urged job seekers to rely only on official sources for recruitment-related information. Official notifications regarding employment opportunities in the Ministry are posted exclusively on its website: (rural.gov.in). The public is encouraged to verify any job openings through this platform before responding to any recruitment advertisements.
