By Doruvu Paul Jagan Babu: Assistant Chief Editor

Utnoor – Telangana: MLC candidate Gavvala Srikanth campaigned in Utnoor on Thursday, engaging with graduates from Medak, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, and Adilabad. Addressing the gathering, he highlighted the rising unemployment crisis and urged educated voters to make an informed choice in the upcoming elections.

Unemployment and industry closures

Srikanth criticized successive governments for failing to create jobs, stating that many industries had shut down over the past decade, leaving graduates without employment. He pointed out that in some regions like Nizamabad, Medak, and Siddipet, people had even died of hunger due to economic distress.

Governments and elected representatives questioned

He questioned whether any past MLCs, MLAs, MPs, or governments had meaningfully discussed these pressing issues in legislative bodies. Srikanth asserted that his candidacy stems from a deep understanding of these problems and a commitment to addressing them.

Call for thoughtful voting

Encouraging graduates to exercise their voting rights wisely, he emphasized that educated individuals must not fall into the same patterns as uninformed rural voters. He urged them to prioritize his name on the ballot, promising to work tirelessly for their concerns and even take to the streets if necessary.

Support from various groups

Leaders from student and Dalit Bahujan organizations, including Pradeep Prashant Bapurao, Vamsi Nayak Kasturi, Mahesh Kothapalli, and others, pledged their support. They vowed to utilize social media to raise awareness and ensure Srikanth’s victory.
