Dhanbad:- A monthly meeting of Dhanshristi Bhavishya Nidhi Trust was held on June 5, 2025, under the chairmanship of President Shri Bhuneswar Singh. The meeting brought together the organization’s office bearers, members, and active participants to review ongoing activities and discuss future plans aimed at strengthening social and financial development initiatives.
The meeting was conducted in a positive and constructive environment where several important topics related to financial inclusion, microfinance services, and administrative developments of the trust were discussed.
Emphasis on Financial Inclusion
During the meeting, Secretary Mrs. Sarita Singh informed all members about the trust’s ongoing efforts to promote financial inclusion in society. She explained that Dhanshristi Bhavishya Nidhi Trust is working to provide access to financial services for economically weaker sections of the community.
She highlighted that the trust is focusing on programs such as micro credit, micro insurance, and savings schemes. These initiatives aim to support low-income families, small entrepreneurs, and individuals who often struggle to access formal banking services.
According to Mrs. Sarita Singh, many people in rural and economically disadvantaged communities still depend on informal sources for loans, which often leads to financial exploitation due to high interest rates. Through structured financial programs, the trust intends to create a safer and more reliable financial support system.
Promoting Women Empowerment
Another major point of discussion during the meeting was women empowerment. The trust has made it a priority to encourage women’s participation in financial activities and economic development.
Mrs. Sarita Singh stated that the organization is working toward creating opportunities for women to become financially independent. Plans include encouraging women to participate in savings programs, self-help groups, and small income-generating activities.
The trust believes that empowering women economically leads to stronger families and healthier communities. When women have access to financial resources and training, they are better able to contribute to the well-being of their households and society.
Collaboration with National Financial Institutions
Members were also informed that the trust aims to collaborate with major financial development institutions in India. The objective is to strengthen the reach and impact of financial inclusion programs.
The trust is exploring opportunities to work with institutions such as SIDBI (Small Industries Development Bank of India) and similar organizations that promote microfinance and support small enterprises. By building partnerships with such institutions, the trust hopes to expand financial services to a larger segment of society.
Application for 12A and 80G Registration
During the meeting, Mr. Samir Kumar Singh provided important administrative updates to the members. He informed everyone that immediately after the formal registration of the trust, an application will be submitted to the Income Tax Department for 12A and 80G registration.
He explained that obtaining 12A certification will allow the trust to receive tax exemptions on its income, while 80G certification will enable donors to claim tax benefits on their donations. This will help the organization attract more contributions and strengthen its ability to conduct social welfare activities.
Mr. Samir Kumar Singh emphasized that completing these registrations is an important step in building credibility, transparency, and financial sustainability for the trust.
Bank Accounts for Financial Operations
The meeting also discussed financial arrangements for the smooth operation of the trust. Members were informed that efforts are being made to open current and savings bank accounts at Federal Bank, Govindpur (Dhanbad) and Malviya Nagar, New Delhi.
Applications have already been submitted to the concerned bank authorities in Delhi, and the process is currently underway. Once the accounts are opened, all financial transactions of the trust will be managed through these official banking channels.
This step will ensure proper financial management, accountability, and transparency in the organization’s operations.
Expanding Social Activities
During the meeting, the members also discussed plans to expand the trust’s social activities in the coming months. The trust intends to conduct awareness programs related to financial literacy, savings habits, and insurance benefits.
These programs will be organized in both rural and urban areas to educate people about responsible financial management and the advantages of being connected to formal financial institutions.
President Shri Bhuneswar Singh emphasized that the mission of Dhanshristi Bhavishya Nidhi Trust is not only to provide financial support but also to spread awareness about financial planning and economic responsibility.
Call for Collective Efforts
At the end of the meeting, President Shri Bhuneswar Singh thanked all members for their active participation and encouraged them to work together for the success of the trust.
He stressed that the progress of any social organization depends on the dedication, honesty, and cooperation of its members. He urged everyone to remain committed to the mission of promoting financial inclusion and social welfare.
