Lokesh assures permanent solutions to sustain RDT services for poor

Anantapur – Andhra Pradesh: Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh pledged full government support to ensure uninterrupted services by the Rural Development Trust (RDT), calling it a ray of hope for millions of poor families.

RDT’s role highlighted

Minister Lokesh stressed that RDT is not just a charity but a humanitarian movement that has transformed the lives of millions through education, healthcare, employment, and financial support. He said protecting such an institution is a collective responsibility.

Meeting with RDT Administrator

The assurance came during a meeting with RDT Administrator Mancho Ferrer on Sunday. Ferrer briefed the minister on the disruption of services and its impact on beneficiaries, urging quick and lasting solutions.

Government’s response

Lokesh said the state government has already taken up the issue with the Centre and is exploring all avenues to resolve the difficulties permanently. He assured that services would be restored at the earliest.

Bond with Telugu people

Expressing admiration for Mancho Ferrer’s love for the Telugu people and language, Lokesh said RDT has built a humanitarian bond with the community that must be safeguarded. He assured that people need not worry, as the government is committed to ensuring continuous services.
