Christian leaders laud Chennaikeshavulu’s Supreme Court caste case

Chittoor – Andhra Pradesh: Christian leaders and Ambedkarite activists extended their congratulations to Republican Party of India (Bhimrao Ambedkar) State President Dr. Dasari Chennakeshavulu for filing a Supreme Court petition challenging caste-based boycott practices in Pithapuram.

The leaders met Dr. Chennakeshavulu during the unveiling of Dr. B R Ambedkar’s statue and his birth anniversary celebrations held in Mahasayan village, Bangarupalyam mandal, Chittoor district on Friday. The event honoured Ambedkar’s legacy as the chief architect of the Indian Constitution.
Christian community voices support
Independent Pastors Association State Coordinator Robert and leader Vilvanadhan introduced Dr. Chinnakeshavulu to the gathering. They, along with others from the Christian community, congratulated him for initiating legal action against caste discrimination targeting the Mala community in Pithapuram.
The event saw the participation of Republican Party of India (BA) Chittoor District President Parthasarathi and Ambedkarite supporters including Bullet Babu and Subramaniam. They expressed solidarity with the ongoing struggle for social justice.
Prayers and blessings for justice
Following the meeting, Christian leaders offered prayers and blessings for the success of Dr. Chennakeshavulu’s legal and social movement aimed at eradicating caste-based exclusion.
