RPI honours Ambedkar activists with Ugadi awards in Andhra Pradesh

East Naidu Palem: On the occasion of Ugadi celebrations, the Republican Party of India (Bhimrao Ambedkar) Andhra Pradesh unit recognized Ambedkar activists and leaders from across the state, presenting Ugadi awards to honour their contributions to social justice and Ambedkarite movements.
Felicitation of Dalit leaders
RPI Andhra State President Dasari Chinnakeshavulu and Mala Employees Sangam President Tullibabu Ashok Aadhvariyam organized the award ceremony in East Naidu Palem, Ongole district. Activists from 26 districts were honoured for their relentless efforts in advocating Dalit rights and upholding Dr. B R Ambedkar’s principles.
Leaders from Chittoor district awarded
From Chittoor district, movement senior leader Mahasamudram Krishnaiah, RPI District President Parthasarathi, and young Dalit activist Vallathur Uday Kumar were felicitated. MGO District President Rahul also received the B R Ambedkar Ugadi Award, presented by Chinnakeshavulu and Mala leaders Yamala Sudarshan and Puthalpattu Prabhakar.
Activists pledge continued efforts for Dalit rights
Speaking after receiving the award, Parthasarathi expressed gratitude and vowed to intensify efforts in addressing Dalit issues in Chittoor. “This recognition motivates me to work harder for our community’s rights,” he said, emphasizing the need for sustained activism against caste discrimination.
