Kuchipudi prodigy Abhi shines at Ugadi puraskaralu 2025

Andhra Pradesh: At the Ugadi Puraskaralu 2025 event in Tanuku, Chiranjeevi “Abhi,” a rising star from Sri Shiva Sai Kuchipudi Nritya Kala Kshetram, captivated audiences with a stellar dance performance, earning accolades and honours from elders, gurus, and the Akshaya Social Cultural Association.
Abhi’s stellar Kuchipudi performance
During the Ugadi Puraskaralu 2025, hosted by the Akshaya Social Cultural Association at Tanuku NGO Hall, young Kuchipudi dancer Abhi delivered a mesmerizing performance. Trained under Tanuku Sai Madhavi at Sri Shiva Sai Kuchipudi Nritya Kala Kshetram, Abhi’s talent won the hearts of attendees, earning blessings from elders and teachers. Her dance, rooted in the rich traditions of Hinduism and Sanatana Dharma, resonated widely across Telugu states and beyond, marking her as a promising talent.
Recognition and honours
The Akshaya Social Cultural Association celebrated Abhi’s brilliance with a special honour, presenting mementos to both him and her mentor, Sai Madhavi, for shaping her skills. Abhi’s mother, Bhavani, was also felicitated with an award certificate for nurturing his passion. Prominent gurus, including Thalapaka Sandeep Kumar, M. Satya Venu Sharma, Sarada Raman, Potala Pavani, and Neerja Pemmaraju, attended and praised Abhi’s artistry, predicting a bright future.

Rajahmundry residents expressed immense pride in Abhi, who began her journey at the Rajahmundry branch of Sri Shiva Sai Kuchipudi Nritya Kala Kshetram. Her parents, CH Venkat and Bhavani, received widespread congratulations for encouraging her pursuit of Kuchipudi. Hindu religious leaders, legal experts, doctors, and social reformers sent messages of support, while Hindu Dharma Rakshak Samiti President Akula Manikanth hailed Abhi as an inspiration for young artists.
