Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s 99th jayanti celebrated with philanthropy and devotion

Ramachandrapuram – Andhra Pradesh: The 99th Jayanti of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba was commemorated with grandeur and community service at Sri Sathya Sai Mandir, Draksharamam. The event, organized by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samiti, featured various spiritual and philanthropic activities on Saturday, bringing devotees together in celebration and service.
Spiritual activities mark celebrations
The day began with Nagara Sankirtana, spreading spiritual harmony across the town. The ceremonial Prashanthi Flag unveiling and Ashtottara Puja followed, symbolizing devotion and unity. A display of 99 portraits of Sri Sathya Sai Baba served as a visual tribute, inspiring the attendees.

Philanthropy in action: Blankets distributed to narayanas
As part of the celebrations, 99 blankets were distributed to Narayanas (needy individuals), embodying Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings of service and compassion. The gesture resonated with the spiritual ethos of the occasion, earning appreciation from the local community.
Devotional Bhajans filled the mandir with melodious reverence, followed by the distribution of Prasadam, uniting participants in spiritual camaraderie.
Devotees, including Convener Vissapragada Krishnamurthy, Y Raja Rao, KS Papaji, Pennada Venkat Rao, Samayamantula Ganesh, Samayamantula Lakshmi, and Suthapalli Vijayalakshmi, actively participated in the celebrations, contributing to the event’s success.
The celebrations reflected the enduring legacy of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, combining spiritual devotion with acts of selfless service.
