Rs. 4.32 lakh aid given to family of deceased Home Guard

Anantapur – Andhra Pradesh: In a compassionate gesture, the Anantapur District Police provided financial assistance of Rs 4.32 lakh to the family of Home Guard N Anjaneyulu, who passed away recently due to illness. The support, handed over by District SP P Jagadish, aims to help the family during this challenging time.

SP hands over cheque to family

District SP P Jagadish presented the cheque to Anjaneyulu’s wife, Jayalakshmi, in a gathering at the SP’s chamber in the district police office on Wednesday. Expressing condolences, the SP urged the family to use the funds for the children’s education and overall welfare, ensuring lasting benefits from the assistance.

Colleagues show solidarity with voluntary donation

Demonstrating solidarity, the Joint District Home Guards contributed one day’s pay from their honorarium to support the family of their deceased colleague. District SP Jagadish praised the thoughtful initiative of the home guards, commending their sense of community and support.

Additional SP Admin DV Ramanamurthy, AR Additional SP Iliaz Basha, and Reserve Inspector Madhu were present at the event, showing their support and sympathy for Anjaneyulu’s family. The collective effort highlighted the police department’s commitment to supporting the families of their own.
